The Department of Applied Social Sciences (DCSA) ensures, at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, teaching and research in areas outside the fundamental sciences and engineering. In this way, it provides our students with a structured education in the field of applied social sciences, encompassing competencies in expression and communication, the relationships between science, technology and society (history, philosophy and contemporary thought), ethics, work organization, and economics, management and entrepreneurship.
